How to embed your Instagram & TikTok feed in 5 minutes

By the Feedsly team · 23 June 2026 · 4 min read

A live social feed is one of the highest-impact things you can add to a website, and one of the easiest. You do not need a developer, a plugin, or to wrestle with the Instagram API. Here is the whole process, start to finish.

Before you start

You will need the social account you want to display (Instagram, TikTok or YouTube), and access to edit your website — anywhere you can paste a block of HTML. That is it.

The five steps

1
Connect your account. Sign in to Feedsly and paste your handle (for example @yourbrand). Your recent posts pull in automatically — no API keys, no app review.
2
Pick the posts. Show everything, or hand-pick the posts you want to feature. You stay in control of what appears.
3
Design the feed. Choose a layout — grid, masonry, carousel, story bar — set your colours, columns and spacing, and watch the live preview update.
4
Copy the embed code. One snippet, generated for you:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://api.feedsly.io/embed/feedsly-widget.css">
<div data-feedsly data-endpoint="https://api.feedsly.io/api/feed?widget=YOUR_ID"></div>
<script src="https://api.feedsly.io/embed/feedsly-widget.js" defer></script>
5
Paste it where you want the feed. Drop it into your site's HTML and publish. Done.

Where it goes on popular platforms

Why this beats the "official" embed

Instagram's own embeds break when a post is edited, only show one post at a time, and look nothing like your brand. A dedicated feed re-hosts your media so it keeps working, refreshes itself on a schedule, matches your colours, and loads fast from a cache instead of hammering the social platform on every page view. Set it once and forget it.
